This is a very brief summary of a youtube presentation given by “Bear Independent” entitled, “Determining Threats”. The presenter draws from his special forces background to suggest all preppers need to conduct what he refers to as an “Area Study” which is a detailed evaluation of your specific geographic location to determine potential threats. The presenter uses the following parameters to evaluate threats: Prioritize from “Most Likely to Least Likely”; Actual (today) to Potential; and Immediate to Projected”. The presenter details “Conventional Threats”; “Irregular Threats”; “Catastrophic Threats”; and “Disruptive Threats”. His whole argument is that with limited time and resources putting your time and money into the most likely, actual, immediate threats first, makes the most sense. I recommend considering his suggestions in conducting our own plan.
